Southern Lites Park is a hidden gem in Happy Valley that offers a beautiful mix of open green spaces, mature trees, walking paths, and seasonal color. Its variety of natural backdrops makes it an excellent choice for family sessions, senior portraits, couples, maternity, and children's photography.
The park provides a relaxed setting with plenty of room to explore, making it especially great for families with young kids who need space to move and play. During golden hour, the warm evening light filters through the trees, creating soft, natural portraits with a timeless look.

How do I get started?

Is a deposit or payment required?
A $50 deposit is required to secure portrait, family, branding, and mini sessions, with the remaining balance due when photos are delivered.
Sports photography is prepaid in full at the time of booking.

Yes. Location guidance, outfit suggestions, and session details are all part of the process so you feel prepared and relaxed.
What happens on session day?
Sessions are guided, low-pressure, and focused on natural moments. No modeling experience needed — I’ll walk you through it.
When will we receive photos?
Final galleries are typically delivered within two weeks and include full printing rights.

Individual athlete coverage focuses on one athlete during a game or event. Coverage includes in-game action, effort, emotion, and key moments, with 15+ edited images delivered in a personal online gallery.
How does team coverage work?
Team coverage includes organized team portraits and individual athlete photos. These sessions are coordinated with coaches or organizers to ensure a smooth, efficient process. Pricing varies based on team size and needs.
What is included with senior night or special event coverage?
Senior night coverage includes individual senior recognition, team moments, and event highlights. This option is ideal for milestone games and end-of-season celebrations.
How is payment handled for sports photography?
Sports photography is prepaid in full at the time of booking.
When will photos be delivered?
You’ll receive a text or email when your gallery is ready. Photos are delivered via a personal online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images.
What happens if a game is canceled or rescheduled?
If a game is canceled due to weather, a full refund will be issued. If a game is rescheduled, coverage will automatically transfer to the new date unless otherwise requested.
How will I receive my photos?
Game photos are typically delivered within 48 hours. During tournaments, multi-game weeks, or periods of inclement weather, delivery may take slightly longer.
